Persistence of Memory. 18"x24". Oil on canvas. 2025.
A nod to one of the greatest Salvador Dali.
The oil painting depicts a surrealist cityscape with melting buildings and distorted architecture, reminiscent of Salvador Dali's style. The sky is a vibrant orange and yellow, with blue clouds and a few white clouds scattered throughout. In the foreground, there are several buildings that appear to be melting or warping, with sharp angles and jagged edges. One building has a clock face on it, adding to the sense of time distortion. The overall effect is one of dreamlike unease, as if the city is melting away into nothingness.
